Work commenced on site on 14 - 26 Market Road, Islington in December 2010. The 2.5 year project for The Span Group involves the construction of a mixed-use scheme comprising 338 sq m of commercial space and 164 residential apartments arranged in wings around a central courtyard, heights ranging from 4 to 7 storeys, plus galleries, lower ground floor, parking and gardens.

Anser have managed the project since its conception and now, additionally, assume the role of Employers Agent under the Building Contract. The site adjoins the Kings Cross re-development area and spans Victorian tunnels that serve the main lines into Kings Cross. It involves a complex engineering solution and close liaison with Network Rail. PTEa are the architects, Walsh Associates the structural engineers and Ardmore the main contractor.
