Anser advise on procurement strategy and carry out the procurement of consultants, contractors and specialist sub-contractors as a standalone service. Anser have experience of traditional; design and build (EPC); design, build and operate; and PFI projects and of working with EU procurement arrangements.
Hotel and Spa Refurbishment, Staines
Anser acted as Project Manager for the refurbishment and improvement of the hotel’s spa and swimming pool facilities.
Due to the scale of the works, the areas of the hotel under refurbishment were temporarily taken out of use, although the remainder of the hotel remained in full operation. Careful planning of the works took place in advance to ensure that the period on site was as short as possible. A 7-day working week, with extended hours was used to further mitigate any inconvenience.
Anser’s role involved agreeing the brief, appointing the team, overseeing the design and then acting as contract administrator during the construction works. We also carried out all necessary liaison with the hotel to agree working methods, phasing, etc.
