We work alongside lawyers and other specialists to manage the due diligence work associated with site purchase, purchase of existing developments and, particularly, the purchase of partially complete projects. 

We also provide fund monitoring services to project financiers, overseeing developments on their behalf and reporting regularly on project progress, risk and financial status.

Residential Led, Mixed Use Development, Purfleet

Anser were appointed by a major house builder to manage a major residentially led mixed development in the Thames Gateway.

The project was to provide 659 new residential units, 1,400m2 of commercial space, a new riverside walkway, and substantial community open space.

The site was considered by Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation & CABE to be of fundamental importance to the successful rejuvenation of the larger Purfleet area, and hence the development process necessitated significant consultation with the associated bodies.

Anser’s remit included due diligence and viability exercises, as well as more general project management duties. We managed the project team through planning and statutory approvals, and contractors involved in extensive remediation works.

Planning approval was obtained in July 2008 after which we managed disposal of the scheme.
