Due Diligence / Monitoring
We work alongside lawyers and other specialists to manage the due diligence work associated with site purchase, purchase of existing developments and, particularly, the purchase of partially complete projects.
We also provide fund monitoring services to project financiers, overseeing developments on their behalf and reporting regularly on project progress, risk and financial status.
Air-Rights Residential Development
Anser were appointed by a major residential developer to carry out pre-acquisition due diligence and then to manage a complex project in Southend to create 98 residential apartments.
The scheme was an air rights development in which the residential building was to be constructed above and adjacent to an existing retail, hotel and office development. Complex engineering is a feature of the project and we were responsible for managing the team, negotiating and liaising with an RSL, and liaising on our clients behalf with the landlord of the existing building and the many tenants therein.
The project received planning in late 2007, and was subsequently sold on.
