Zero Carbon Hub

Zero Carbon Hub

On the basis of our involvement in the award winning sustainable development at Milton Keynes, Anser were appointed to assist the Zero Carbon Hub in developing its strategy, and to act as its internal project managers.

Launched in 2008 the ZCH is a government sponsored public private partnership that has been established in response to the findings of the Callcutt Review of housebuilding delivery. Its remit is to drive the industry forward to make zero carbon homes a reality by the 2016 target, and promote behavioural change.

Key individuals from the wider construction industry were appointed to the Hub to ensure success. Working groups have been set up comprising various professional and regulatory bodies whose aim is to document and publicise existing best practice approaches against key carbon reduction issues.

Sustainable Development

Anser have built up considerable expertise in the area of sustainable development.  We are able to advise on, and manage schemes where very high environmental credentials are a pre-requisite, dealing with areas such as BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes, renewable energy requirements, etc.
