London Flood Risk
Anser were appointed to provide a range of Project Management services to the Environment Agency as part of their Thames Estuary 2100 (TE2100) project. The project researched increased flood risk in the Thames Estuary due to the effects of climate change and has provided a strategy of measures necessary to safeguard London through to 2100.
The project's influence extends throughout the Thames Gateway and involved close liaison with a large variety of stakeholders, in both the private and public sectors.
It is recognised that flood risk management will be a prime consideration in the successful achievement of the objectives of the Goverment's Sustainable Communties Plan. Working with developers and land owners, the community and statutory bodies will ensure that future decisions on flood risk in the Gateway contribute to the regeneration of this important area.
Transport & Infrastructure
Anser have managed the delivery of a number of large scale infrastructure projects for various commercial clients. Infrastructure developments have included secondary and tertiary roads, the provision of sub-stations and related electrical infrastructure, gas supplies, water supplies, drainage and foul sewage networks.
