New Research Facility

Anser were commissioned by a Further Education Establishment to investigate cost and time overruns on an important research, manufacturing and office facility that had been built to support a significant space exploration project.

We initially investigated the circumstances of the project, interviewing staff and researching documents before reporting back to our client with our conclusions and recommendations for proceeding, with a view to achieving a commercial settlement.

We acted as mediator in discussions with the contractor. Unfortunately, the contractor was not amenable to a negotiated settlement and the matter went to adjudication.

We managed the adjudication process with assistance from our client’s solicitors and achieved a completely satisfactory outcome for our client.
