A Project Manager is likely to be an experienced individual, or a specialist consultancy engaged by the client to act as their Agent, and with responsibility for the administration, management and co-ordination of the Project. They provide the proper management structure to allow all the parties involved in the project to perform their duties effectively.

A Project Manager should have a comprehensive knowledge of the business area the client operates in, and should be able to demonstrate well-developed skills in areas such as conflict management, negotiation, problem solving, team building, motivation and leadership.

A project manager is increasingly required to deal with a very broad spectrum of commercial, technical and legal matters. A client should ensure that their project manager has the necessary depth of experience, and the appropriate systems and procedures to ensure that their service is robust and consistent.

Anser Project Managers are able to supply clients with individuals to work as an integral part of the client's own in house teams leading projects, or to provide a self sufficient external project management team to manage projects autonomously reporting directly to the board.
